Biography
Kelly Rinik, founder of Sew Lovely By Kelly, has been sewing and constructing handmade custom roman shades, curtains and cushions since 2013, when she started up her own Etsy shop. Up until recently, Sew Lovely mostly worked with customer provided material, but now she offers many fabric options for customers to select from, as well. She works with mostly home owners directly, and after having researched and experimented with various methods of making roman shades throughout the years, she is happy to be able to offer a budget-friendly option, while still producing high quality custom goods. Sew Lovely works solely online, and her customers are from all over the United States.
Kelly’s background is in TV production, where she worked for CNBC in the studio and control room for 20 years before deciding it was time to leave her long time career to pursue her window treatment business. Although she has now background in sewing, Kelly was always passionate about decorating and handmade crafts and loves working with fabric. She also really enjoys the business and marketing end of it and her experience is all self taught. She designed her own website and has a good deal of knowledge about social media and marketing.
Sew Lovely by Kelly is one of the top roman shade sellers on Etsy, and within the past few years the business has been featured in many very popular blogs and social media posts.
